Pregnancy and Webster Technique
Dr. Chase is one of the few practitioners in the Interior to be a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). The ICPA is a non-profit organization whose mission is to educate practitioners on the special, evidence based treatment and management of pediatric and para-natal patients.
More than 50% of woman experience back pain during pregnancy. Chiropractic therapies can both ease discomforts during pregnancy but also encourage a natural labor.
Webster is a technique designed to restore and maintain balance in the pelvis during pregnancy. Webster treatment is intended to decrease tension on the uterus and the surrounding structures, it consists of soft tissue massage and stretching as well as gentle adjustments specified for a growing belly. This technique has been shown to aid with optimal positioning of the baby before birth as well facilitate the natural process and decrease difficulties during labor.
